Roofing software gets compared as if it were one category. It is at least four: measurement reports, 3D capture, estimating apps and CRMs. Each of the tools below is good at its part. EagleView vs Hover
The most common comparison, and they are not really rivals. EagleView measures the roof from aerial imagery and sells a report per roof — $24.25 to $87 for Premium roof reports depending on size and volume, $18 for Bid Perfect. Nobody visits. Insurance carriers know the format, which is its real strength. Hover builds a 3D model of the whole exterior from photos somebody takes around the house — $39 to $139 per project, less on its $999 and $2,999 yearly plans. It covers siding, windows and interiors, which a roof report does not.

Roofr vs RoofSnap
Both help the roofer measure and sell. Roofr is a platform: a free Starter plan with $19 reports, up to $349 a month for the full CRM, and add-ons — including its Instant Estimator for your website at $149 a month. RoofSnap is an app priced per user — $105 a month, or $52 to $78 on annual plans depending on team size — with reports from $13, good-better-best estimates, contracts and payments. Its instant estimate fills roof area and pitch from satellite, but it is run by the contractor rather than by the homeowner on your site.
JobNimbus vs AccuLynx
Both are CRMs that run jobs, crews, documents and money, and neither publishes a price. JobNimbus sells plans by team size — up to 3, 10, 19 or 20+ users — with a 14-day trial, and includes estimates, e-signatures, invoices, payments and supplier integrations. AccuLynx covers sales, production, crews, finance, a customer portal and SMS, with pricing through a sales form. They manage leads well; neither lists a way for homeowners to price their own roof on your website.
