White-Label Software
Definition: White-label software lets you brand a product as your own. SatelliteQuotes is fully white-label — your logo, colors, and company name appear everywhere, and customers never see ours.
White-label software is software that another company built but you can rebrand and resell as your own. Your customers see your brand; they never know who actually built the underlying product.
For contractors, white-label matters for trust. When a homeowner is on Summit Roofing's website and gets an estimate, they want to see "Summit Roofing" on the quote — not "Powered by SatelliteQuotes." The white-label experience makes the technology feel like an in-house tool, which it effectively is.
What's white-labeled in SatelliteQuotes:
- The widget on your website (your logo, colors, and styling)
- The hosted estimate page (your domain or our subdomain with your branding)
- The PDF estimate (your logo, license #, contact info on every page)
- Email notifications to customers (sent from your email, with your branding)
- SMS notifications (your company name as the sender)
What stays SatelliteQuotes-branded:
- Your admin dashboard (just for you, never seen by customers)
- Billing emails and account emails (just to you)
The economic logic: white-label software is more expensive to build (every screen needs to support theming) but unlocks a much bigger market. Contractors won't recommend a product that puts another company's logo in front of their customers — so we don't.
