How do I get a commercial paving quote?+
Commercial lots are priced the same way, by area, but with a thicker base and asphalt, striping, drainage and traffic control. Trace the lot for its area, then ask commercial paving contractors for a written scope; expect a site visit before a firm price.
Asphalt or concrete — which is cheaper?+
Asphalt: roughly $4–$8 per sq ft installed, lasts 15–20 years, needs sealcoating every 3–5 years. Concrete: $8–$18, lasts 25–40 years, cracks show. Asphalt wins on upfront cost; concrete on lifespan.
Is the estimate a firm price?+
