What a CertainTeed Presidential Shake roof costs
Our quote engine's price for a roof of premium designer shingles at a 6/12 pitch, old layer torn off, at US-average roofer wages. The roof is bigger than the house: the pitch adds about 12% to the footprint.
| House footprint | Roof | Installed |
|---|---|---|
| 1,500 sq ft | 16.8 squares | $12,600–$14,500 |
| 2,000 sq ft | 22.4 squares | $16,600–$19,100 |
| 2,500 sq ft | 28.0 squares | $20,600–$23,800 |
The engine prices premium designer shingles as one class, not by brand, so these figures are the same on every line of that class we cover. Within the class, roof size, pitch, tear-off and local labour move a price far more than the label on the bundle; what Presidential Shake costs your roofer depends on their supplier, so ask for it by name.
