TAMKO Titan XT colors

The 20 colors TAMKO lists for Titan XT. The swatches are our own drawings, an impression of each color's tone, not a photo or a color match: granule blends look different in sun, shade and on a whole roof. Look at a real sample board, and a house near you with the color on it, before you choose. TAMKO says colour and product availability varies by region and manufacturing location; some colours are made at other plants.

What a TAMKO Titan XT roof costs

Our quote engine's price for a roof of architectural shingles at a 6/12 pitch, old layer torn off, at US-average roofer wages. The roof is bigger than the house: the pitch adds about 12% to the footprint.

House footprintRoofInstalled
1,500 sq ft16.8 squares$9,500–$10,900
2,000 sq ft22.4 squares$12,400–$14,300
2,500 sq ft28.0 squares$15,400–$17,700

The engine prices architectural shingles as one class, not by brand, so these figures are the same on every line of that class we cover. Within the class, roof size, pitch, tear-off and local labour move a price far more than the label on the bundle; what Titan XT costs your roofer depends on their supplier, so ask for it by name. TAMKO Titan XT questions

How much does a TAMKO Titan XT roof cost?

On our quote engine a roof of architectural shingles on a 2,000 sq ft house (6/12 pitch, old layer torn off) comes to about $12,400–$14,300 at US-average roofer wages, roughly $600 per square installed. The engine prices architectural shingles as one class, not by brand: a roofer's price for Titan XT depends on what their supplier charges them for it, so ask for it by name.

What colors does TAMKO Titan XT come in?

TAMKO lists 20 colors: Autumn Brown, Black Walnut, Mountain Slate, Natural Timber, Painted Desert, Thunderstorm Grey, Antique Slate, Desert Sand, Glacier White, Olde English Pewter, Oxford Grey, Rustic Black, Rustic Cedar, Rustic Evergreen, Rustic Hickory, Rustic Redwood, Rustic Slate, Shadow Grey, Virginia Slate, Weathered Wood. Availability varies by region, so check with a local roofer or TAMKO before you settle on one.

Is TAMKO Titan XT impact resistant?

TAMKO lists it as UL 2218 Class 3. Class 4 is the highest UL 2218 rating and the one many insurers discount premiums for; Class 3 is one step below.

What wind speed is TAMKO Titan XT rated for?

110 mph standard; up to 160 mph (TAMKO starter, TAMKO Hip & Ridge shingles and High Wind Application Instructions), per TAMKO's own pages. Higher wind warranties usually need extra nails per shingle and the manufacturer's starter and ridge shingles.

Limited Lifetime (single-family structures), with Full Start, 10 years. After the non-prorated period, a manufacturer's warranty usually covers a shrinking share of material cost and rarely labour; see our shingle warranty guide.
